DWP consultation on PIP mobility component: call for evidence

The Government are consulting further on the change from 50 metres (under DLA) to 20 metres (under PIP) as the distance for an award for a higher level Mobility. The consultation can be found here and the Rightsnet story on the consultation is here.

Tom Messere, NAWRA rep for south Wales,  is pulling together a NAWRA response to this by the deadline of 5th August and would be grateful for any thoughts comments from fellow members. Time is short, so perfect prose and finely honed arguments not needed (but always welcome);  jottings, thoughts, scans of backs of a beer mat – anything that can be sent via e-mail – will be greatly appreciated.
